deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that
we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness

Frequently asked questions about Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) 7. Does EFT require a prior knowledge of acupuncture, or meridian
therapies in order for it to work?
Answer. No, you do not need to understand the workings of acupuncture or
meridian therapies. Nor do you need to understand How or Why EFT works.
Performing the simple tapping technique while pinpointing your issue is
enough to achieve significant results. 8. EFT sounds too good to be true and that is usually a red flag. Is
this another unsubstantiated “miracle cure” that really is without
substance?
Answer. The EFT website has hundreds of case studies which consistently
show how EFT has provided relief for an endless list of issues. Gary Craig developed EFT with the aim of putting it
into the hands of as many people as possible and to this end he is
offering the EFT Manual
as a free download where you can learn the
basics of EFT. People who download the manual and apply EFT to one or two issues see very quickly that EFT works. It is one
thing to read testimonials about how well EFT works, but it is important
to give yourself the opportunity to witness it for yourself. EFT is
truly a healing tool that someone in every family should know.
9. How is EFT different from conventional therapy?
Answer. The fact that you can do EFT by yourself distinguishes it from
conventional talk therapies immediately. While talk therapy certainly
has its benefit for some people, EFT moves beyond talking about an issue
and it focuses on eliminating your negative, unwanted emotional or
physical response to the issue. While conventional therapy helps you to
understand why something is bothering you, EFT helps you to eliminate
the emotional charge associated with an issue so that it no longer
bothers you. After EFT, most clients feel a sense of peace and lightness
about the issue they worked on. They are no longer preoccupied with the
issue and they are able to move forward in their lives without the
burden or block of the problem inhibiting them.
Many EFT practitioners work with clients who do not want to talk about
the issue that is troubling them. As the client, all that you have to do
is identify the issue or trauma for yourself without ever sharing the
details with your EFT practitioner. A skilled EFT practitioner will be
able to work with you in this manner.
10. I notice that you offer EFT telephone sessions. How can you do EFT
