More Stuff About Christine Wheeler, EFTCert-I
I'm a Certified EFT Practitioner and co-author of
IBS for Dummies
and IBS Cookbook for Dummies with Dr. Carolyn Dean. I've also ghostwritten several other health books that I can never tell you about! I've been a freelance
researcher and writer for 15 years, specializing in alternative, natural
medicine and healing techniques. My busy private EFT Practice is
in Vancouver, BC and I have telephone clients all over the world.
In 1999, I was introduced to EFT and quickly pursued training in
this unique healing method, attending training seminars led by Gary
Craig and watching the DVDs. I've also loved getting advanced training in Tapas Acupressure
Technique (TAT), another beautiful healing method in the field of energy
psychology that I incorporate into my work with clients. I've recently become Certified in WHEE (Wholistic Hybrid derived from EMDR and EFT) and am thrilled with the results that my clients are getting.
Using these modern healing tools, I've worked with groups and
individuals to help people eliminate issues like panic attacks and
anxiety, food cravings, and physical and emotional trauma resulting from
car crashes and abuse. I've also worked with people with conditions
like Irritable Bowel Syndrome, allergies and infertility. As you see on my home page, I've
developed a specialty working with performers who are suffering from
emotional blocks, anxiety and stage fright, helping them to achieve
their goals as actors and musicians. Having triumphed over writer's block myself, I am getting great reviews from my writer-clients who are finally able to embrace their own creative gifts.
In 2003, I had the unique and life changing opportunity to spend
nearly 5 months caring for my 80 year old mother who was quite suddenly
diagnosed with terminal leukemia. Every day we did some tapping
together to help alleviate her pain, sadness, anxiety and
worry. EFT and TAT were invaluable tools during this stressful time and
allowed me and my little Mum to resolve old issues, and develop an
even more special bond before her passing in September, 2003.
It was during this time that I truly became
convinced of the importance of these new healing techniques which are
giving crucial support to people all over the world. I became
even more committed to help spread the word about EFT. Within a short
time, my writing partner Dr. Carolyn Dean and I secured
a contract with Wiley Publishing to write IBS for Dummies. In this
publication, we introduce EFT as a viable treatment option for people
with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Now, in December 2009, the offspring of that book IBS Cookbook for Dummies is available at Amazon.com.
